Mia Armstrong, MD

Director of Strategic Initiatives

Dr. Armstrong is a board-certified Pediatrician and a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She received her MD from the Medical College of Georgia. Her Pediatrics training was completed at the University of Mississippi. Though she enjoys working with children of all ages, she has a special interest in teaching new parents to care for their newborns while offering breastfeeding support as a Certified Lactation Counselor. Also fluent in Spanish, she has completed mission trips in both the Dominican Republic and Honduras and teaches English as a second language (ESL). Dr. Armstrong serves as a Medical Editor and Reviewer for Healthline Media.
